Altán to install 3,000 towers for the Shared Network in one year

Altán's initial network deployment plan for the Shared Network establishes the installation of between seven and eight towers per day, which means 3,000 towers in a year to reach a 30% coverage of the population by the end of March next year, said Eugenio Galdón, president of the company.

With a group of 150 engineers, Altán refines the details to begin installing antennas and deploy the shared network, the most important telecommunications project of this six-year period.

It explained that the deployment process "has started and we hope to show the first results in the coming weeks, the purchase orders are made, there are engineering teams designing the networks, there are contracts with tower companies whose facilities we are going to rent."
