According to Norberto Capellán, president of the Cámara de Informática y Comunicaciones de la República Argentina (CICOMRA) (Computer and Communications Chamber of the Argentine Republic), the turnover of the ICT sector exceeded US$15 billion in 2016. For CICOMRA, the major drivers that boost the development of the sector are sales of equipment and the development of software and computer equipment, in addition to the expansion of the Internet and the growth of the mobile telephone lines. Capellán detailed CICOMRA's work on the Convergent Law project as an example of contribution to a public policy.
