The non-governmental entity Seja Digital, responsible for the migration to digital TV process, reported that so far the free kits have been delivered to 9 million families who have already benefit from digital TV.
It should be remembered that the switching off of analog TV began in 2015 and through the end of 2018 more than 1,300 municipalities across the country will have made the change. At present, more than 550 Brazilian cities have digital TV service.
