The Mexican Association of Online Sales warns that measures to tax the digital economy would impact SMEs more

The Mexican Online Sales Association warned that the measures proposed in the Economic Package for 2020 aimed at taxing digital platforms, such as Uber, Amazon, Didi, among others, would have a greater impact on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

It is expected that by 2020 VAT will begin to be charged to transactions carried out within digital platforms, as well as the ISR to those who generate income through them.

Government analyzes partial privatization of Copaco

Oscar Stark, president of the firm, states that alternatives are being evaluated to obtain the necessary funds, including the possibility of adding private partners. And he believes that in 18 months "the situation will be resolved."
