Video consumption increased 300% at the beginning of the quarantine

During this quarantine, bandwidth usage increased from the usual 60% to 95%; while the consumption of games increased by 100% and that of videos by 300%. In addition, there are videoconferences such as Zoom, used for classes and teleworking, which jumped 500%, according to data from the company QuarkSocial about Internet demand in Bolivia.

On its part, Tigo reported an increase of 42% in its demand, while Viva adds 40%.

Government analyzes partial privatization of Copaco

Oscar Stark, president of the firm, states that alternatives are being evaluated to obtain the necessary funds, including the possibility of adding private partners.
