The head of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), Carlos Lozada, reported that the authorization to companies to cut services to debtors of three or more invoices scheduled for today has been postponed.
Until yesterday, the percentage of accession was less than 3%, so the Peruvian government launched a campaign to promote subdivision. Lozada did not specify until when the deadline to join the proposal has been postponed. The MTC recalled that debts can be paid in up to 12 monthly installments. Following the official announcement, companies such as Claro and Best Cable Peru announced their support for the payment facilities policy.
