The application developed by the Mitic (Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies) that allows for follow-up and monitoring in quarantine has incorporated new tools, and registers more than 7,437 people.
The director of Information and Communication Technology, Edimal González, reported that "we are going to a second phase where we provide information on protocols and medical references." Regarding the new functions, he emphasized that they intend to provide medical assistance and psychological restraint to all users, in addition to other information: “The idea is that through this application we can control other diseases. We will continue to develop this app with Mitic, because it will continue to provide monitoring through epidemiological mapping.”
