Mark Zuckergerg of Facebook; Jeff Bezos of Amazon; Sundar Pichai, from Google's parent, Alphabet; and Apple's Tim Cook appeared at an antitrust hearing that will continue today. The businessmen detached themselves from the accusations and argued that in the market "there is significant competition." They also spoke in favor of the values of American democracy and warned about the advance of the "Chinese Internet" which they disqualified because it was based on other ideas.
