Antel inaugurates Phase III of the Pando Data Center with a US$ 12 million investment

Antel's Board of Directors has opened Phase III of the Pando Data Center, with a data room whose investment is US$ 12,000,000. It occurs after rooms I and II have an occupation of 94%.

These facilities are intended for SMEs that can build on this capacity services, applications and develop AI. "They can do it here in Uruguay with high-quality services, accessible prices, adequate latency and Antel's technical advice, as well as with the ability to be partners, sharing risks and growing in new ventures to meet these demands," emphasized Gabriel Gurméndez, President of Antel.

Government analyzes partial privatization of Copaco

The state operator is going through a delicate moment. Its income does not cover operating expenses and it must fulfil a debt obligation of US$110 million.
