Hondutel's losses reach US$ 6.1 million

The numbers of the Honduran Telecommunications Company continue falling. Despite the fact that the sector is the only one that showed growth during the pandemic, the state company would be the exception. In a preliminary report it showed losses of US$ 6.1 million, about US$ 4.8 million more than what it presented in the same period of 2019. The recovery plan announced by the government has not yet been adopted. It consists of searching for a partner to invest US$ 500 million in expanding the broadband network.
