Tie in 5G tender scores and to be defined by independent auctions in three of the four bands

The companies Borealnet, Claro, Entel, Movistar and Wom tied in the evaluation of the technical projects presented for the 700 MHz, AWS and 3.5 GHz bands, for which the Undersecretary of Telecommunications will carry out independent auctions during the second and third week of February. Subtel specified the scores achieved by the operators in the different bands: In the 700 MHz band, Wom obtained 99.1608 and Borealnet, 96.8455. In the AWS band, Wom reached 99.1019; Claro, 97.4519 and Borealnet, 96.3882. In the 3.5 GHz band, Wom scored 99.3726; Claro, 98.2021; Movistar, 96.4973; Borealnet, 96.4678 and Entel, 96.4109.

The 700 MHz band will be auctioned on February 8, the AWS band on February 11 and the 3.5 GHz band on February 16.

For the 26 GHz band (four 400 MHz blocks), awards will be made for all bidders (Claro, Entel and Wom), without going through the proposed bidding or auction process, since the available bandwidth is enough to satisfy what is required by each one.
