In his presentation last week at the Regional Meetings of Telecommunications in Rosario, Sebastian Rossi, Commercial Director for Latin America of Network Broadcast, stated that the future of television is in the evolution towards the hybrid. Linear television (a standard programming schedule plus a focus from news broadcasts) should be complemented by Video On Demand (from platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, FoxPlay, blim or HBO GO) and applications (unification of third party apps through the provider) to make up a "Smart Pipe".
