Telefónica and KKR redirect Telxius strategy

The sale agreement does not have a great impact on the debt reduction of the Spanish operator. The objective is to generate synergies to take advantage of operators' investments in the face of the growing demand for mobile data 5G will bring.

Finally, Telefónica completed the sale of 40% of its infrastructure subsidiary Telxius, an action for which it had been struggling since the middle of last year.
