Lack of policies to strengthen Sapem left halfway

Lucas Vicente, General Manager of Refsa, Sapem (Company with majority State ownership) based in Formosa, said that the situation of provincial Sapems "is disparate". "Most Sapems came to consolidate important infrastructure, some of them were more relegated, others achieved 100%. Those consolidated can think of how to develop small regional economies". But he added that the situation of those that were left half-way is more complicated: "I do not see national policies to strengthen them, I do not see the economy moving said infrastructure, I do not see any result". He proposed as one possibility to activate Sapems' infrastructure to complement the policy with the provincial governments, with ANR (Non-reimbursable contributions) and with Arsat. The official said that Refsa developed more than 2,000 kilometers of fiber optic, covering areas that are commercially profitable, with 40 GB capacity.
