At the FTTH Latam Conference 2018, which takes place in Mexico City, Mario Fromow, commissioner of the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (Telecom Regulator) assured that the country currently has 3.11 million accesses to FTTH, which turns Mexico into one of the countries with the largest deployments of this technology in the region. "Mexico has 9 accesses per 100 households, similar to the number recorded in the United States, which has 10 accesses per 100 households", he said.
