ADN 18: industry proposes to lower taxes and agreement to develop infrastructure

In the final stretch of the electoral campaign for the next presidential elections in July, the chambers of the sector unified in the Agenda Digital Nacional (ADN) (National Digital Agenda) 2018 a roadmap for the upcoming years.

The Cámara Nacional de la Industria Electrónica, de Telecomunicaciones y Tecnologías de la Información (Canieti) (National Chamber of the Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technologies Industry), the Asociación Mexicana de la Industria de Tecnologías de la Información (Amiti) (Mexican Association of the Information Technology Industry), the Asociación de Internet de México (Internet Association of Mexico) and the consultancy firm The Competitive Intelligence Unit (The CIU) presented yesterday the National Digital Agenda 2018. The collective initiative covers 121 proposals for coverage, access, digital skills and motivation. Canitec, the chamber that groups the cable operators and América Móvil which is not part of Canieti did not participate.
