Currently, Paraguayan operators buy traffic from private companies. But with possible bi-national agreements, Paraguay will save around US$120 million annually for this transport. The country today has the second highest rate in the region for Internet service, behind Venezuela, according to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and an international connection of 55 Gbps.
