The T-MEC would trigger new competition in Mexico’s telco sector

The United States, Mexico and Canada would sign the free trade agreement that replaces the NAFTA (in force since 1994) in Buenos Aires. The final details of the agreement have been determined in a telephone call days ago by the President of Canada, Justin Trudeau and the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto. The parliaments of the three countries still have to approve the agreements in less than 60 days.
