"Conditioning" instance to be key in 26 GHz and 3.5 Ghz combinatorial tender

Peruvian MTC proposal, which will receive comments until Thursday, December 3, includes two scenarios: one with Conditioning of the 3.5 Ghz band, and another without this intermediate instance. The fact that companies with frequencies in 3,400 - 3,600 MHz wish to participate in the 3,300 - 3,800 MHz bidding process will be decisive.

At the beginning of November, the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) published in public consultation the working document “Proposal for the allocation of 3.5 GHz and 26 GHz frequency bands and identification of the 6 GHz frequency band for the development of 5G digital technologies and services and beyond". Its objective is to establish a roadmap that will serve as a guide for the massive launch of 5G in Peru. The proposal was available for industry comment until December 3.
