Francisco Moreno's first challenge as head of Subtel will be to clear up doubts about license bought by Claro from Entel

This possibility has raised issues in the industry in recent days. Moreno will lead the entity in the nine remaining months of Piñera's government (the elections will be held on November 21), and yesterday the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, Gloria Hutt, made clear that the regulator's agenda will not be altered by Gidi's departure.

"Pamela Gidi made a tremendous contribution to the deployment of 5G and fiber optic coverage, we expect that Francisco Moreno will take over", said Hutt. She assured that the new head of Subtel will be able to "give continuity" to the agency's agenda.
