After the resignation, this Monday, of Víctor Álvarez Herrera, who had took office in September of last year, Patricia Carreño Ferré was appointed as the new Vice Minister of Communications. The appointment bears the signature of President Dina Boluarte and the recently appointed Minister of Transport and Communications, Paola Lazarte Castillo.
A specialist in telecommunications law and management, prior to this appointment, Patricia Carreño Ferré worked as advisor to the presidency at the National Superintendence of Sanitation Services.
She has 20 years of experience in the public and private sector. She served as director in the Ministry of Economy and Finance, she was an adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Relations, chief of Cabinet of the Ministry of Energy and Mines and of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion.
