Uruguayan cable operators advance in the search for technological allies to provide broadband

Washington Melo, president of the Uruguayan Chamber of TV for Subscribers (CUTA), stated this in a panel dedicated to the Southern Cone at Nplay. "We as small companies have our weaknesses and we are looking for different business models that adapt to our needs," he stated in tune with Argentine SMEs that fostered alliances to survive in a challenging context.

Melo explained that neighboring SMEs are thinking of a role model, to focus on the last mile, complementing themselves with specialized strategic allies: "We serve customers well, with knowledge and good response capacity, but we need the technological support of an ally," he said.
