Facundo Leal, President and CEO of Arsat, stated this during his participation in Latsat 2023. The Arsat 1 and 2 satellites in orbit are currently being utilized up to 95% of their capacity. The agreements with SES and Hughes aim to address the "great need for connectivity" and to generate business in the Ka-band.
Regarding the export of services, Arsat currently serves customers in the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Canada, and Chile. Leal specified that the revenue from these services amounts to approximately US$1 million per month.
