The Ministry of Science, Innovation, Technology, and Telecommunications (Micitt) has stated that the 5G auction will prioritize infrastructure deployment, investments in networks, and service quality over a revenue-focused approach.
This is reflected in the guidelines that Micitt sent to the Telecommunications Superintendence (Sutel), which will be responsible for designing the competition. Sutel will include the 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz, 3.5 GHz, 26 GHz, and 28 GHz bands in the auction.
