The National Law on Simplification and Digitalization aims to standardize procedures and requirements while improving processing times across all three levels of government, ensuring that the same procedure follows the same characteristics nationwide.
This was explained by José Merino, head of the Agency for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications (ATDT), who clarified that to achieve this, Articles 25 and 73 of the federal Constitution must be amended to grant Congress the authority to enact the new legal framework.
