The deadlines for Disney to sell Fox Sports have been suspended since March last year, when the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) (Telecom mregulator) decided to stop the calendar with which it counted the elapsing of the days of the extension it had granted Disney to sell Fox. This extension in turn was the consequence of the fact that in the first six months after the approval of the merger between Disney and 21st Century Fox in Mexico, the former had not managed to sell the sports channels.
