Telefónica: “The Argentine operation is no longer part of our portfolio. What happens is not our concern”

This was stated by Laura Abasolo, the operator's leader for the Latin American region. She assured that they will continue exploring "strategic alternatives" and "generating value for shareholders."

Laura Abasolo, CFCO and Head of Telefonica Hispam, spoke a few minutes ago at the presentation of the results of the Spanish operator for the year 2024, and commented on the recent sale to Telecom: “It is an operation where, in addition to a valuation well above that estimated by analysts, the signing and closing have been carried out simultaneously, so the asset is no longer ours.”
