These are data from the Synthetic Indicator of Public Services published by Indec. Mobile lines were 3.2% less than in the same month of 2019 and 0.3% less than in May of this year.
Calls to mobiles fell 17.5% year-on-year (-30.7% international calls) but rose 2.1% compared to May. Consumption of mobile broadband data (BAM, in Spanish) increased 42.5% compared to June 2019 and short messages fell 38% compared to the same period. In relation to the previous month of 2020, short messages fell 10.4% and BAM access data consumption rose 3.2%.
The number of fixed lines in June was 0.6% lower than that registered in May this year and 6% lower than that of June 2019.
