This was affirmed by Eduardo Pintos, Regional Sales Manager of Cambium Networks, during a workshop at the Córdoba meeting. He stated that the main problem for an Internet provider is customer loyalty, so the quality of experience comes into play.
Cambium's "QoE" product takes control of the network, regardless of the technology, including fiber or wireless, and allows customer segmentation according to their type of consumption. For example, priority is given to gaming enthusiasts. To this end, it has a packet accelerator, traffic delineation, automatic congestion detection, management, and traffic statistics per app by means of Deep Packet Inspection (DPI).
Pintos pointed out that the solution is capable of detecting more than 1,500 apps.
