The municipality of Neuquén has 84% of its procedures digitized

Five years ago, the percentage was 20%, said Cristian Hirsch, coordinator of the Secretariat of Modernization of the organization, during Tecnap 2025. Recently, the name of the citizen communication channel was changed from “Mi muni digital” to “Muni Express”: so far, more than 30,000 procedures have been carried out on the platform, and there are over 30 digital apps. Among the available services are the online driver’s license, the express business license, and the certificate of no outstanding debts.

Regarding the deployment of public Wi-Fi in the city of Neuquén, there are currently 350 access points, Hirsch noted.

The official also shared details about the smart traffic plan. “Entry gantries were installed at the city's access points for license plate reading. We created a digital road ring, which allows us to determine the number of vehicles entering Neuquén. During peak hours, 80,000 vehicles enter the city, with an internal circulation of 160,000, 60% of which are from outside,” he said.
