The CEO of Claro Peru, Humberto Chávez, said the operator expects to meet that target, in addition to deploying more than 5,000 kilometers of fiber-optic cable. He also said he sees stronger growth in the corporate segment.
Regarding the recent acquisition of Wow, Chávez said the company is waiting for the purchase process to be completed, as the transaction must be authorized by Indecopi.
The executive referred to the situation facing telcos worldwide in relation to artificial intelligence, explaining that operating costs have increased due to AI demand, while prices are also rising amid demand for the chips used in their services.
