Millicom improves revenues thanks to coin game

Year-on-year improvement in its revenue in the first quarter of 2024 was 8.6%, of which 5 percentage points were due to the strength of the currencies of Colombia and Costa Rica. Good organic performance was observed in Colombia, Panama and Guatemala. Mobile subscriptions rose to 7.34 million.

Millicom, which operates in Latin America under the Tigo brand, reported revenues of US$1,487 billion in the first quarter of 2024, with a growth of 8.6% compared to the same period in 2023.
