Brazil, key scenario for expansion of regional satellite market

The great South American country concentrates 65% of the active LEO satellite connections in the region. But within its borders, these accesses represent only 1% of the total broadband. This is due to the high cost of the service for end users. Competition with OneWeb and the upcoming arrival of Kuiper Project

Brazil's satellite telecommunications sector is undergoing a rapid transformation, driven by the advancement of low-orbit (LEO) satellite constellations. With a vast territory and multiple hard-to-reach areas, the country has become a key stage for the expansion of satellite companies seeking to cover areas where terrestrial infrastructure does not reach.
