Alliance for Comtelca's Affordable Internet made its first advances in Guatemala

The Alliance signed at the last Mobile World Congress began to render its results in Guatemala. "We are the facilitators of a team that was established, called Coalition for Broadband in Guatemala, which is dedicated to formulating the National broadband plan and the Digital Agenda for the country. We guide the team with our regional perspective to collaborate in developing those two public policies", said to Convergencialatina Allan Ruiz, executive secretary of Comtelca. Ruiz said that mobile operators, cable companies, government and regulator are participating in the work groups. He anticipated that replicating this initiative in Honduras and El Salvador is under analysis
