Ministry of Health to implement virtual platform for traceability of patients with Covid-19

The Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, said that they seek to strengthen the traceability plan through a virtual platform that will be available from Saturday and that will contain the data of people infected with coronavirus. The platform, whose infrastructure will be provided by Amazon, allows access to a large amount of information and share it from the Ministry of Health, the health authority and primary care simultaneously.

As soon as a case is confirmed by the laboratory, the information is uploaded to the platform and epidemiological professionals in primary care and the Ministry of Health will be able to contact the confirmed case and their close contacts to indicate isolation.
