In first half of 2019, telecommunications recorded revenues of US$910 million

During the first semester of 2019, the income of the Bolivian telecommunications sector amounted to a total of US$910 million, which represents 47.65% of the total income recorded during 2018, according to data from the Sistema de Información Especializada de Telecomunicaciones (SIET) (Specialized Telecommunications Information System).

These revenues are led in the first place by those corresponding to the Internet Access Service (fixed and mobile), followed by the revenues from the Mobile Telephony Service and the revenues from the Signal Distribution Service.

In the first half of the 2019 management, the income of the Public Telephony Access Service reached just over 40% of the total recorded in the previous management, if this trend continues until the end of the management, it will be confirmed that the service is decreasing in importance for citizenship.
