The field tests carried out to analyze the devices intended to mitigate the interferences produced between 5G technology and satellite TV, in the 3.5 GHz band, ended yesterday and, according to some sources, only one of the 10 LNBF prototypes tested it was able to meet the objective.

The tests were carried out at Claro Technological Reference Center in Rio de Janeiro, and they were carried out by technicians from all the operators and from the Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Anatel) (Telecom Regulator) and were transmitted by videoconference, which allowed their remote observation by representatives of the regulator, mobile and satellite operators, and pay TV.
