Boeing to construct communications satellite for tech giants

The company’s space unit informed that this year it could sign a agreement with Google, Facebook, Amazon and Apple for the construction and operation of a high capacity device. The same could be part of initiatives; for example, to take Internet to undeveloped countries around the world.

The announcement was done during the Satellite 2015 event, which began yesterday in Washington, the United States.

In addition to Boeing, SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies) advanced that it will create a constellation of 4,000 low orbit satellites for these connectivity projects. For this, it has received US$ 1 billion in investments from Google.
