Philip Wallace, who is also Chairman of the Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) will be received today by Undersecretary of  Regulation of the Ministry of Communications, Oscar Gonzalez and Alejandro Pereyra, director of the Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (Communications Regulator), among others.

Virgin manages since 2011 an MVNO license in Argentina and expects to be awarded it shortly to begin the local landing. In the region it offers its services, targeting young people in Colombia, Chile and Mexico. In Peru it would commercially launch its products in August.

The company would disburse around US$30 million in Argentina, 80% of the figure in two years, when they would have a staff of about 200 employees plus the sellers it will outsource.

Wallace told Convergencialatina that Virgin, because of its customer service and the design of simple products achieves user satisfaction rates higher than those of the network operator with which it works.
