Futurecom 2016

Mobile series app Studio+ launched in Brazil and to reach remaining Movistar customers in the region in November

At a conference in Futurecom 2016, Studio+, the Premium entertainment app for the Smartphone screen, developed by the French company Vivendi for Telefonica was presented globally. Each production will consist of ten episodes of ten minutes each, and there will be a new one per week, after the initial launch of 15 series, filmed in 18 countries.

Local stars of "Crime Time" produced in Brazil with cinematic quality but for mobile format, attended the event at Expo Transamérica. Launch in Argentina -with the series "Ahí Afuera", made in Patagonia- is scheduled for October 26, followed by the remaining eleven countries in Latin America where Telefónica operates, as advanced to Convergencialatina Dominique Delport, president of Vivendi Contenidos.

Vivo users will be able to access plans for US$1.25 per week (prepaid customers) or US$4 per month (postpaid customers) to consume content from the app, which can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play, and which also allows to download the series to view them offline.

Delport entrusted Convergencialatina details of the "10x10" consumption model Vivendi aims to install referring to the 10 chapters of 10 minutes each. "We are facing a generation used to consume Snapchat stories, moments at Instagram, everything has become shorter. Studio+ is a way to innovate and pioneer the way of telling stories", she said.

Christian Guebara, Executive VP of Marketing and Sales at Vivo, said the operator maintains an exclusive contract on Studio+ for three years. The launch follows the presentation of Watch Music, on last October 6, also with Vivendi, with live performances, music and shows exclusive contents.
