With a US$ 314 million offer, GolTV was chosen by the clubs to broadcast the championship

The winner of rights to broadcast championship matches was chosen by vote of the presidents of the football clubs. The first vote was won by DirecTV's offer, associated with TV Cable and Univisa, followed by, the Uruguayan company GolTV, owned by Paco Casal. In the next few hours they will announce the details of the negotiation, although there are rumors that GolTV’s offer was US$ 314 million, plus a variable, which could reach US$ 579 million, for 10 years of contract.
