The Undersecretary of Regulation of the Setic, Oscar González, assured that in the short term the re-allocation and re-channeling of the 450 MHz band will be made in order to allow cooperatives and SMEs in the interior to provide wireless broadband. The official also ratified the government's support to the Intermediaries Law for Internet platforms and operators to dissociate themselves from commercial disputes by third parties, which has already been given preliminary approval from the Senate. González also said that work is being done to expand the regulations on infrastructure sharing between operators and passive infrastructure service providers.
