Entel to sell 2,000 antennas in Chile and Peru in an operation that would exceed US$500 million

Entel launched its Project "Proyecto Alba", name given to the operation involving the sale of more than 2,000 antennas, with the idea of ??being able to lease them later. To complete the transaction, Entel hired Citi - Banchile and Santander as financial advisers. The first firms will be in charge of leading the process of transferring the assets in Chile, while the Spanish bank will look for buyers for the portion of antennas that will be sold in Peru.

Sources of the sector indicate that American Tower would be the favorite for the purchase of antennas. However, the list of interested parties also includes Andean Tower Partners, SBA, Phoenix Tower, Telxius (Telefónica's company plus KKR fund), Telesites (of América Móvil), Torre Sur Group, Crown Castle and Cellnex. The price estimated by the market only for the antennas to be sold in Chile ranges between US$300 and US$500 million, which would be between 70% and 80% of the total value if Peru antennas are added to the equation.
