Rappi to launch its credit card after allying with Davivienda and Visa

It will be in December thanks to an alliance with Banco Davivienda, under a Visa franchise and will have benefits such as security filters through facial recognition and will not have a handling fee.

Both the bank and the app were already working together at RappiPay: “Together with the knowledge and experience of Davivienda, and the knowledge of Rappi of its users, we are going to launch a credit product to further facilitate these relationships inside and outside the application,” said Gabriel Migowski, director of RappiPay Colombia.

In addition, he detailed that “card users will receive 1% cashback, without conditions, without asterisks on a daily basis, in a pocket in RappiPay, thus if you want to transfer it to an ATM and withdraw it, you can do so. Or if you want to turn it into other things within the ecosystem, you can do it.”
