Mundo Móvil to begin operating as MVNO next Sunday

Although the new company of the cable operator linked to Linzor was already in a pilot plan for two months, Sunday will be its official launch. To start operating, Mundo Móvil invested US$ 2.5 million and 2,000 people participated in the pilot plan. Mundo Móvil operates on the Movistar network.

Mundo CEO Enrique Coulembier said the idea is to expand through its fiber optic customer network. Mundo Móvil becomes the company's fourth business, after having broadband, pay television and fixed telephone offers. Despite this announcement, Mundo continues to focus on its fiber optic-based services with the 24,000 kilometers of this network and with the 3 million clients that it aspires to have by December 2021.
