Roque Roy Méndez, new General Manager of Entel

The Minister of Public Works, Services and Housing, Edgar Montaño, appointed Roque Roy Méndez Sotelo as General Manager of the Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Entel), replacing Eddy Luis Franco.

The new authority is an electronic engineer and was Vice Minister of Telecommunications of the Ministry of Public Works, Services and Housing on two occasions. He also served as general manager of Entel and was director of the Autoridad de Regulación de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones (ATT) (Transport and Telecommunications Regulation Authority).
