BTG Pactual Fund enters exclusive negotiations to purchase InfraCo from Oi

Oi decided to enter exclusive negotiations with the FIP Economía Real fund, managed by the BTG Pactual bank, to sell 51% of the voting shares of its infrastructure business (InfraCo). Thus, in the first instance, the other interested party, the company Highline, belonging to the Digital Colony fund, would have been excluded from the negotiations.

From now on a period of 30 days of confidential negotiations opens that can be extended for another 30 days. At the end of the process, if an agreement is reached, FIP Economía Real will be designated as a stalking horse (preference for the acquisition) for the tender that will be carried out under the framework of Oi's judicial recovery plan.

The FIP Economía Real fund presented a detailed report on the strategy it will face for the business and even included who will be the CEO of the new company: Amos Genish, former president of Telefónica do Brasil.
