Buenos Aires province agrees with WhatsApp to notify vaccine appointments

Since this last Wednesday, the local administration communicates the assigned appointments of the Buenos Aires Vacunate program against Covid-19 through the digital messaging service.

In the first two days, 159,000 appointment notifications were sent, Sandra Dagostino, undersecretary of Digital Government of the province, informed Convergencialatina. Messages via WhatsApp are an alternative that was added to emails and messages from the Vacunate PBA application.
