Lithium sales reached a record high of US$27.9 million in 2021

President Luis Arce said that the industrialization of lithium is advancing steadily, since the sales record of US$27.9 million was broken in 2021.

“The industrialization of lithium is advancing steadily. We have a sovereign strategy. In 2021, we broke records in the sale of potassium chloride, lithium carbonate and magnesium chloride, obtaining revenues of US$16.8 million, US$10.7 million and US$190,000, respectively,” the Head of State wrote in his Twitter account.

Government analyzes partial privatization of Copaco

Oscar Stark, president of the firm, states that alternatives are being evaluated to obtain the necessary funds, including the possibility of adding private partners. And he believes that in 18 months "the situation will be resolved."
