Cleber Morais, Brazil Country Director at AWS, explained that in 10 years of Amazon in the region there have been several waves of adoption: first, start-ups, then large customers (Banco Itaú, among others) and now we are seeing demand from medium-sized companies.
In Brazil there are more than 3 million companies with a turnover of around 5 million reais per year, and this market is starting a digital transformation. It is looking for the same technology as large companies to have proximity to innovation, cost optimization and security. To address this segment, AWS focuses on channel development and training.
